Burglary suspect hid under bed for 3 days

A home burglar allegedly snuck into a residence in Spotswood and hid there for three days until he was discovered by the homeowner, according to police.

SPOTSWOOD, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – Police have released details of a weird burglary that occurred earlier this year in New Jersey.

On May 10, the homeowner heard a noise coming from the spare bedroom and found a man hiding underneath the guest bed.

According to the report, Jason Hubbard made his way into the Spotswood home on May 7 when the Ellenel Boulevard resident was taking out the garbage.

Hubbard is charged with burglary, criminal trespass, and theft of service. He was taken to Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center and is being held for a $50,000.00 bail. His age and hometown haven’t been released, and it’s not known if he has an attorney.

When the owner returned, intruder Hubbard shot into a spare room and hid under the bed, NBC 4 Washington reported.
