According to a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent, an item inside a Bogdan bus exploded. According to the Police Chief, the explosion happened on the right side of the bus, 2nd seat of the front. The bus driver has managed to survive the blast. The bus exploded while moving.

He also noted that the whole information is preliminary.
The explosion occurred on the 63rd line of the municipal bus route.
Addressing reporters, Health Minister Armen Muradyan said the lives of all the injured passengers are out of danger.
“The cause of the explosion is being inquired”, Armenian Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Service chief Nikolai Grigoryan said. “I can not say anything exactly right now”.
The police officers and representatives of the National Center for Crisis Management, as well as criminalists work on the spot.

Initially it was reported that three people have died and seven were injured.
