Bush lays out his agenda for taking on ‘Mount Washington’
According to Reuters, “Bush characterized himself as a more moderate type of Republican who still has conservative principles, promising meaningful immigration reform, speaking some fluent Spanish, pledging to “disrupt” Washington, reminding voters of his wife’s Mexican origins and criticizing potential adversary Hillary Clinton“.

The morning speech, given in front of a giant screen displaying the message “Reform DC”, drew about 500 supporters — many with ties to Bush dating to his days in the governor’s mansion.
Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush said Monday he would not replace two-thirds of retiring federal employees, as the former Florida governor laid out plans to overhaul what he called a bloated U.S. government.
“As someone who truly understands the risk of standing up for something, I simply can not express in words how much I value their willingness to stand up against John Kerry”, Bush wrote in a letter dated January 19, 2005.
Bush confirmed he sent the letter to the head of the group, Col. George “Bud” Day, a highly decorated veteran who was McCain’s cellmate in Vietnam, and thanked him for his service. A document provided the Bush campaign took aim at the F-22 Raptor, the Comanche Helicopter and the Zumwalt Destroyer, saying the federal government could increase efficiency by upgrading defense systems over time, instead of “waiting decades to launch a new ship or plan with every conceivable bell and whistle”. On a few occasions, Bush also emailed the firm’s lobbyists advance copies of public policy speeches.
Bush, 62, launched his presidential campaign on June 15, at a multicultural campus of Miami Dade College in Miami.
“John Kasich is an effective governor and has a great record, and he’s the host governor of the first debate in Cleveland”, Bush said of Kasich, the 16th candidate, who entered the race Tuesday.
He said he supported a federal balanced budget amendment to limit spending and would institute a rule to hire just one new federal worker for every three who leave.
When Bush mentioned McCain’s name, he interjected to describe the former GOP presidential nominee as “a real hero, by the way”.
It looks like Bush is trying to counter the anti-establishment claims of Republican rivals like Donald Trump, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz.
And Bush was by no means the only 2016 candidate condemning Trump’s comments.
Bush would also like to dock the pay of the 535 elected members of Congress in the case of absenteeism.

He added, “It might not pass Congress, but it would get them all there for a vote”. If we cant always get them on the job, lets at least get them on the record..
