Bush: New Hampshire race is ‘wide-open’
These days, it’s impossible to tell the Bush-in-New-Hampshire story without mentioning Rubio.

“I disrupted, when I had a chance to govern and serve, I disrupted the order in Tallahassee for the betterment of 18 million people”, Bush said. The crowd was tough.
“Please clap”, he said, drawing applause – and some awkward laughter. Current polls show him faring somewhat better in New Hampshire, which holds its primary next week, with 9 percent, but that still lags behind Rubio, Iowa victor Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.
“I also want to assure everyone on the call that Iowa is an aberration”, George Prescott Bush said in a conference call with Bush supporters in MI.
Right to Rise still has $59 million remaining, more than Rubio’s super PAC, which has almost $14 million.
Jeb Bush had to ask his audience to clap after one of his speeches was met with silence.
Former President Jimmy Carter says Donald Trump is more “malleable” than Ted Cruz and as such might prove to be a more effective candidate over time. Bush then discussed his record as Florida’s governor, focusing on achievements in cutting taxes, exercising his veto power and his partnership with the state Legislature.
Bush, who has finally gotten comfortable enough as a candidate to embrace his family’s legacy, choked back tears mentioning his father, who wasn’t present.
Earlier this week, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina wrote to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus saying that, now that the field has winnowed, she should be allowed to debate with the front-runners.
The new message is a more intimate appeal to voters compared to a two-minute ad that directly attacks GOP front-runner Donald Trump and also started airing Wednesday. I’m pro-life, but I won’t go there. “So it doesn’t bother me a bit that the expectations are high”.
Traditionally a Democrat, this is the first time Granite stater Dierdre O’Donnell is voting for a Republican presidential candidate.
Bush could use the boost from his mother because his campaign is struggling in New Hampshire.
Monday night, Bush left Iowa before results were announced to be in place at a town hall in Manchester.

“Governor Bush is a true conservative leader with a long-term vision for this country and the practical know-how to implement it”, Cantor said in his endorsement. “Next Tuesday, we’re going to surprise the world”.
