The former Arkansas governor continued his “The Huck Stops Here” campaign tour in Mount Ayr where he reminded folks there, there is exactly two months from the Iowa caucuses.
Bush, 62, believes he is offering that alternative to other 2016 GOP presidential nomination hopefuls who “are trying to get attention the wrong way”.
“You never win by saying end is near”, said Bush, who talks about campaigning with joy in his heart. It’s hard to imagine him being president of the United States.
“I think that’s ludicrous”, he said of the comment.
Jeb Bush is spending a fortune in this race because he has to continually redefine himself and reboot his message, more problems that establishment favorite fat cats haven’t dealt with much in the past. I think we’ve reached the point I think in our country where maybe we should be a little less gender-specific about this. “This is a race we know is going to get tight”, a Bush aide said. He says the answer is vigilance and striking a balance between national security and being true to the United States’ immigrant roots. “He gets upset, he’s going to start disparaging our allies”.
“What he needs is somebody every morning to pump him up and tell him ‘why you need to be the best damned candidate, ‘” said one source familiar with the debate among donors about what might help Bush. “If a guy, as a capable as he is as a politician, became president, has no clue what he’s doing, that’s a unsafe thing”.
This story corrects the attribution of the quote in the 2nd paragraph to Jeb Bush, rather than Donald Trump. “I’ve pledged to support the nominee, but I have total confidence that the Republican primary voters are not going to support Donald Trump as the nominee”, he said.
“Yeah for a great majority of practitioners, it is a peaceful religion”. “We’re not insulting peace-loving practitioners of the Muslim faith, the Islamic faith, by calling ISIS a group of Islamic terrorists”.
Bush, seen as the Republican frontrunner early on, has struggled to gain traction in a crowded GOP field that has been dominated for months by businessman Donald Trump. “It’s just the nature of the beast”. “People make up their minds late”. Jeb Bush was asked about the book during taping of the Iowa Public Television program, “Iowa Press”.
“I don’t have to be angry”. “I honestly believe it”.

There are current and potential Republican voters out there who aren’t in their eighties, and the party is just getting around to realizing that. “This is the most extraordinary time to be alive”.
