Bush to campaign for brother Jeb in SC

Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich are criss-crossing the Granite State as they poll near each other and aim to finish atop the candidates perceived as representing the Republican establishment – Sen.

Just another humiliation in a rough campaign for Bush.

Which is why his performance in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary could make or break his bid to follow in the footsteps of his father and brother.

Bush’s campaign began 2016 with less than $7.6 million in the bank, less than what Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz had available.

Rubio’s standing-which he considered tantamount to victory- also comes with peril.

Bernie Sanders is expressing confidence about his chances in Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary.

A recent Harper Polling survey showed Bush in second place with 14 percent behind frontrunner Donald Trump at 31 percent.

Clinton was introduced by New Jersey Sen. Rubio, who has said that he opposes abortion even in cases of rape and incest, navigated the issue gingerly on Wednesday, assuring a voter in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, than he could empathize with young women facing unintended pregnancies.

Rubio attributed Christie’s criticism to the notion that “he’s not doing very well, and he did very poorly in Iowa”.

But Rubio appears to be gaining steam following his stronger-than-expected third-place Iowa finish.

We’ve written previously on former Florida governor Jeb Bush’s effort to revive his flagging presidential aspirations by campaigning with his brother – former U.S president George W. Bush. But if the Iowa results are any indication, the dynamics in this race may shift by Election Day. “If I do well in New Hampshire, I’m going forward”. He showed energy and emotion in front of more than 700 people jammed into the Bedford school. “I’ve served with him and he’s just phenomenal”. Jim Inhofe advised, asserting that Iowa “elevated” Rubio from the rest of the pack. Additionally, with the exception of Trump, the contenders have an intense campaign schedule throughout this week and weekend. Trump alleged that Cruz “stole” the Iowa caucuses, and Cruz claimed that Trump is “losing it”.

State Rep. Ritch Workman, R-Melbourne, who will face Mayfield in a state Senate race for the new District 17 that covers Indian River and half of Brevard, said he wants to see Bush elected, but acknowledged the threat Rubio represents. But the campaign is also targeting the front-runner, especially in the final days before the primary.

The former Florida governor said his mother is all the first-in-the-nation voters have been talking about.

Bush said he was an “equal opportunity vetoer” as governor, regardless of which party was “porking out” with certain line items in the budget.

“He’s going to campaign for me in SC – I’m excited about that”, the Republican candidate said on Morning Joe. “The main message is not social, it’s economic”, said Rep. Pete Sessions.

“Please clap”, Jeb Bush implored the crowd, as if he were trying to get their help to resurrect Tinker Bell after she heroically drank the poisonous brew of listening to his stump speech in its entirety.
