Bush: ‘Trump is a jerk’

They continued trading shots throughout the week, with Trump calling Bush “dumb as a rock” on Twitter Friday and getting in some fresh insults Saturday while campaigning in Iowa.

He told Trump in the Republic debate in Las Vegas on Tuesday that “You’re not going to be able to insult your way to the presidency”, and Bush has since repeated the line several times. Just when it appeared he was done with his answer, Bush started his rant against his GOP rival.

“He sounds like he’s an Obama administration spokesman”, Continetti said in response, explaining how Trump and the president use similar rhetoric to describe America’s relationship with Russian Federation.

As per RealClearPolitics.com which maintains an average of all major national polls, Trump?s popularity rating is 33.8% which keeps him on top ahead of all Republican presidential candidates.

Bush’s stump speech covers the same topics it did two weeks ago, but the governor seems to more freely invoke criticism of Trump, much in the same way he has done with President Obama and Hillary Clinton, continuing to question Trump’s seriousness as a candidate and even his intellectual curiosity.

Trump’s comments, in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press”, came the day after Bush declared at a campaign event: “Donald Trump is a jerk”. I gave myself therapy there. “Cuz I’m at 43 and you’re at three – Jeb, you’re a nice guy, but you’re a lightweight, and I know for a fact that you pee sitting down”. Bush, eager to energize his sagging campaign, brought the fight to Trump on the debate stage, repeatedly talking over the billionaire as the pair tangled.

“No, I’ve learned not to answer questions”, he said. In New Hampshire, Bush is not letting up on his jabs, partially casting his decision to go after Trump as a move to save the Republican Party.

Bush in series of tweets said: “Trump says he gets his military advice from the shows”. He also said he was the only one to stand up to Trump’s “chaotic, irresponsible foreign policy at the debate”, while sharing links in his tweets.
