And now, Samsung is about to copy Apple’s pressure-sensitive feature in its incoming Samsung Galaxy S7.
Samsung plans to include some major features to the company’s flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S7, on its release, which may be a carbon copy of the best new features of the iPhone 6, as reported by the Wall Street Journal.
But according to Phonearena.com, the pressure sensitive display tech will not be exclusive to any one company so it’s basically a free-for-all kind of technology that anyone can use.
The charging and connection port, called a USB Type-C port, will enable the phone to gain a full day’s charge in just 30 minutes.
More news about the unannounced Samsung Galaxy A9 continues to make headlines, as the smartphone is expected to be unveiled in less than a month during CES 2016 trade fair.
Last time around Samsung misread the potential demand for the curved screen version of its flagship, the Galaxy S6 Edge. Even the retina scanner that the company is reportedly considering integrating into some versions of the phone follows phones from other manufacturers, like ZTE, that have already integrated the feature.
One of the most awaited features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is its chipset, the 64-bit Exynos 8890, which is expected to be the fastest processor in a Samsung handset or in any handset for that matter.
Much talked about Samsung Galaxy S7 is all set to be released in March.
According to the analyst, these have the potential to win back the loyalty of consumers since many of them got disappointed after seeing that the Galaxy S6 and its Edge counterpart did not have support for an expandable storage. A report about Samsung releasing the Galaxy S7 with two System-on-Chips has also surfaced. Samsung had earlier listed the Galaxy A9 with a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera on board.
