Byron Scott won’t sit Kobe Bryant because of poor play
There’s the declining play of Kobe Bryant, and the lack of support from the bench.

I dont know if im the only one who feels this way, but it looks like the Lakers have given up on Byron Scott and if they have, welcome to the club. According to ESPN, he is the first Lakers player in 19 years to score four or fewer points on 14 or more field goal attempts.
The best analogy to describe the Lakers, who are now one of the worst teams in the National Basketball Association, is that they are like a sinking ship, and Kobe Bryant is going down with them. “I don’t see that happening with the upcoming schedule we have”, said Walton, who is filling in for injured Golden State coach Steve Kerr. “You can’t have bravado and enjoy the times and then have times like this and kind of cower away from it. You’ve got to take the lumps as well”, added the Black Mamba. “I think I’ve probably talked about it more than anybody else on the team, just because I know the history and just really how hard it is”.
“I think your career is over. Again, our conversations are pretty blunt”, Scott told the Los Angeles Times. I believe Kobe Bryant should retire, and I’m going to go this far, Skip.
“Nah. There’s really no reason to”, the head coach said via Los Angeles Daily News. “I don’t want to work him too hard to where now the timing is not that much of an issue, but the rest is”. Kevin Garnett is playing less minutes in Minnesota so why can’t Kobe.
Scott also said he’s not counseling Bryant. To Scott and the Lakers, Bryant’s accomplishments in the past seem more important than what he’s able to do in the moment. On Wednesday his star didn’t practice – and on Thanksgiving the entire team will be off.
Warriors point guard and reigning league MVP Stephen Curry led all scorers with 24 points in just 30 minutes of play.
“Yeah, I’ve seen him play and it’s disgusting”, he said. He’s been doing it for a long time. Nearly all of Kobe’s shots were contested jumpers where Bryant got very little separation. This is a far cry from his 31.1 shooting percentage average this season.

With their 111-77 win over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors sit alone as the most-dominant team out of the gate surpassing the 15-0 start by the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and the 1948-49 Washington Capitols.
