From the reports, Where The ICAI Common Proficiency Test (CA) was attended in approximately 170 cities containing 3 outside centers of the India on the 19 June 2016.

The following entrance examination was held on 2nd and 16th of May, 2016 and June respectively.
In the Common Proficiency Test held last month, 41,727 candidates of the 1,07,058, who appeared, passed.
The test was mainly categorized into two broad parts for four papers. They have to deal with subjects such as Fundamental of Accounting, Mercantile Law, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude, General English and Business Communications.
CA Final result would be published online on both official sites, www.icai.nic.in and www.caresults.nic.in and candidates will be able to access their result using respective registration number or PIN number.
The second part was recognised as an afternoon part which was conducted between 2 pm to 4 pm.
An all India merit list (candidates securing a minimum of 55% and above marks and those grabbing the maximum of 50th Rank in the Final Exam) will also be available on the website.
Each of the paper is conducted on a criteria which include minimum 30 percent of marks as qualifying marks. Every year ICAI conducts CA Final and CPT 2016 examination.
CPT Pass Percentage: 38.98%. The candidates are expected to gain the score at least of 30 percent marks in each exam paper and a least of 50% scores in the aggregate of all examine papers.
