The film does not depend on special effects which has led to a movie that is strewn with so many details that one immediately feels transported into the world of Star Wars. It puts us in a position for a repeat of the charming ad that Steven Spielberg took out in Variety when the first Star Wars surpassed Jaws to become the biggest film of all time. Not only that, but Star Wars also set a new record as the biggest opening day of all time in Belgium, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland.

You tell millennials that there was no substantial merchandise when Star Wars came out and we waited months for those first action figures to trickle out, and they look at you as if you’re recalling the era before electricity.
