As Caitlyn Jenner continues to score awards and headlines for her breakthrough transition, her past as Bruce Jenner hasn’t simply been wiped clean.

A lawsuit against Caitlyn Jenner, filed in connection with a California auto crash that led to the death of another driver, has been settled, according to multiple reports.
Los Angeles court records filed this month by Jenner’s lawyer show that Jessica Steindorff settled her case. Jenner has since undergone gender transformation to become Caitlyn Jenner. Sources say the insurance company paid for the damages. However, Caitlyn’s legal battle is not over yet, as there are still two other lawsuits, one involving the driver and passengers of the Hummer, and the other involving the two adult stepchildren of the deceased Lexus driver.
Sheriff’s investigators previously determined Jenner was traveling at an unsafe speed for the road conditions and said there was enough evidence to support a vehicular manslaughter charge. Crime also requires ordinary negligence. The impact sent Howe into oncoming traffic on the Pacific Coast Highway, where she died after being hit head-on by the Hummer. Jenner’s truck ran at a high rate of speed into a Lexus, pushing the vehicle of 69-year-old Kimberly Howe into oncoming traffic, killing her.

The crash along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu earlier this year killed Kim Howe. “Based on the facts, can not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the suspect’s conduct was unreasonable”.
