The brother, Syed Raheel Farook, was one of the witnesses to the marriage.

Earlier on Thursday, photos on Farook’s phone prompted a bomb sweep of some California schools.
Kabir, who was apprehended in Afghanistan in 2012, was sentenced this year to 25 years in prison for his role in the case.
The 2012 probe happened in Riverside, California, not far from San Bernardino.
It wasn’t initially clear how Farook might have known Kabir, but the anonymous officials said the men were in the same “social circle”.
The timing of the rifle purchases is of great interest to FBI investigators. The fifth wasn’t arrested and hasn’t been identified. The men were later convicted of charges related to providing material support to terrorists and plotting to kill Americans in Afghanistan.
Chacon said she hadn’t seen her son since the day of the shooting.
Enrique Marquez is a former neighbor and friend of Farook.
Investigators also have been looking into the relationship between Farook and Enrique Marquez, a boyhood friend and Muslim convert who purchased the two rifles used in the attack.
Marquez told investigators that part of the reason the two abandoned their plans was that around that time, they were spooked by unrelated Federal Bureau of Investigation arrests of four people charged with attempting to travel overseas to carry out jihad.
He is cooperating with the FBI, but investigators are still trying to corroborate the information he has provided, including details of the alleged 2012 plot.
The services came eight days after the shootings that claimed the lives of 14 people.
Marquez has acknowledged that he bought the two AR-15s for Farook several years ago. Marquez is said to have been married in November 2014 to a Russian woman whose sister is married to Farook’s older brother, according to officials. Malik’s father, Gulzar Ahmed Malik, told the New York Times that he met Farook’s mother during the annual hajj pilgrimage in the Saudi city of Mecca in July 2013.
Mr Comey told the senate judiciary committee that the FBI investigation has shown that the couple were “radicalised before they started courting or dating each other online”.
Authorities also searched a lake near San Bernardino Thursday, where they may have been searching for a missing computer hard drive that belonged to the couple. About a dozen memorial services will be held for those killed in the attack.
Comey elaborated a bit on the conversations between Farook and Malik, where they talked to each other about jihad and martyrdom before they were married and before Malik immigrated to the United States.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the shootings that left 14 dead last week continued as an FBI dive team searched a small, urban lake about 3 miles north of the shooting site.
Such transactions could be a violation of California law, the officials said. The White House on Thursday said it might ask Congress to reform the fiancée visa program that allowed California shooter Tashfeen Malik to enter the United States, but not until more was learned from the probe of the shooting. The officials did not explain how they knew Malik made the post.
