Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Beta Was Largest in PS4 History

Now, it looks like a Black Ops 3 Nuketown 2065 map is definitely happening – but it could come to the game as “Nuk3town”. The fan site, MP1st, noticed references to a “NUK3TOWN” map that players would get with the special digital edition. “This map, which is among the fan favorites, was completely redesigned to highlight the new chained motion system based on momentum of Treyarch, providing battles full of adrenaline”, PS LifeStyle wrote. Hmm, indeed! Obviously it’ll likely be available now at some point in the future, possibly as part of some promotion or a DLC pack that players can add onto their game. They haven’t said whether they found it themselves or whether it was given to them, so you have to take these kinds of leaks with a grain of salt.

In an announcement that could have been predicted months ago, Activision has related that last week’s ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops III’ multiplayer PS4 beta has gone down as the biggest beta in PS4 history.

“We’ve been looking forward to getting the game into the hands of the people that matter most – the fans”, said Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.

The beta period for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the PlayStation 4 was extended by one day and gamers also received access to a new map and mode during the period.

Of course, betas aren’t just about giving gamers an early glimpse of a game; the goal is to provide the developers with important feedback.

Currently, Treyarch has not yet revealed any details regarding bonus maps or add-ons for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3″.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is out November 6 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
