Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered could be sold separately

Fans of “Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered” may likely play the remastered release, but not necessarily the new game, given the number of dislikes of the previously released trailer video of “Call of Duty Infinite Warfare”.

The part about owning “it or a version of Infinite Warfare that come with it” is interesting because the first part seems to indicate it will release separately. In a recent interview, David Pellas of Raven Software talked about the upcoming game, including an indirect revelation about the standalone copy of the game.

Attack of the Fanboy was able to get some information about the much-awaited beta test of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” when the Microsoft Store accidentally leaked vital information.

The statement has a specific distinction between Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered.

“What we announced before today was that we were going to offer 10 maps on launch, and that’s still true”.

For now, the most popular edition of the game is the Legacy Edition which comes with Modern Warfare Remastered. Do you think Activision will sell the game by itself at some point? At Call of Duty XP we talked with Jack O’Hara about Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and its approach to weaponry in the game’s multiplayer, and O’Hara said that a lot of work had gone into making the guns feel right for the game. Still, it’s all speculation for now since Activision hasn’t confirmed any release date for Xbox One.
