Calvin Harris says he was overwhelmed by the public’s reaction to his split from Taylor Swift. That’s right, folks, Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift have reportedly split, and basically no one in the world could have seen that coming.

“It’s very hard when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly”, Harris admitted.
“The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicised than the relationship itself”.
“When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus”, he revealed. “[Taylor] was the one to put the brakes on the relationship”, the source said. She respected my feelings in that sense.
Swift and Hiddleston’s relationship status became public knowledge when the couple, who reportedly first met back in May during the Met Gala, were photographed together at Rhode Island’s Misquamicut beach – a mere two weeks after Swift and Calvin Harris called it quits on their 15-month relationship.
“I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do”, Harris tweeted, referring to Swift’s then new relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston. He told British GQ that “all hell broke loose” after they broke up, but he seems to be regretting his bitter Twitter rant the tiniest bit.
“For both of us it was the wrong situation”.

Taylor and Tom’s union has now come to an end, with reports claiming that the singer is keen to keep her personal life private, against his wishes to take her to the Emmy Awards.
