Calvin Harris Slams Taylor Swift On Twitter

Soon after telling Taylor to “focus on your new relationship”, Taylor’s most well-known enemy Katy Perry supported Calvin with her own set of Tweets.

“And she sings on a little bit of it too”, he added.

Perry posted two tweets a few hours later that many have interpreted as her response to the whole debacle. It is rumoured that Swift and Perry are not on good terms, with the 26-year-old singer’s song Bad Blood allegedly being about the Roar hitmaker.

Harris has since taken to Twitter to “clear the air” on the situation, which snowballed into a Kanye West-esque rant against Swift, accusing her of trying to “bury” him.

But some were confused by what’s going on.

Taylor Swift, right, hugs Calvin Harris after winning the award for top Billboard 200 album for “1989” at the Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 17, 2015, in Las Vegas.

Several celebrity news outlets quoted Swift’s representatives as saying she actually co-wrote the song but did not want to be identified so their relationship would not overshadow the song. “I won’t allow it”, Calvin Harris said.

Harris ended his rant by urging Swift to “Please focus on the positive aspects of your life because you’ve earned a great one”.

Calvin first praised his former flame on her wonderful ability to write hit songs, after admitting that she’d sat down and written the lyrics before sharing it with him when they were still dating.

The singer was spotted with shopping bags on the Gold Coast of Australia, where she’s been spending time with her new boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston as he films his next movie.

The feud began as Calvin believed Taylor was attempting to make him “look bad” for not admitting that she wrote his hit song This Is What You Came For featuring Rihanna.

She however had the last laugh after she tweeted this GIF of Hilary Clinton after being referenced in Harris’s twitter tirade.
