Cam Newton predicted Panthers’ shot at Super Bowl title six months ago

When Russell Westbrook was asked if he had a Super Bowl prediction, he answered with a simple “nah”. More Chiefs fans are rooting for the Broncos versus the Panthers because they’d rather see the AFC win the Super Bowl.

There will times that Newton has to evade the rush and improvise.

Oliver – who past year told Letterman he considered the Super Bowl to represent “peak America” and that not watching it would get him deported – continued explaining why he’s in the tank for Manning’s Denver Broncos to beat Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers have a franchise quarterback hitting his prime, who has overcome the team’s lack of an elite wide receiver. The Broncos can only pass the ball for so long until Carolina adjusts and forces them to start handing the ball off. Lets face it, Denver is one-dimensional and a defense like Carolina loves one dimensional offenses. In the end, the Broncos have just too much defense, and just enough gas in Peyton’s tank to bring home the bacon.

Most of these Denver players have been there and are desperate not to do that again! “[Laughs]. My best-case scenario is a dignified Peyton Manning, with his future knee problems ahead of him”.

They represent two different eras. On the other side, I don’t trust Denver’s leaky offensive line to protect Peyton Manning from the likes of Kawann Short and Co. An injury to Manning would allow for a quarterback to come in that has the arm strength to challenge the Panthers’ hell-bent defense. It’s not going to be a beatdown, like Carolina’s dominating win against Arizona. “The Panthers are going to keep pounding their way to the championship”. He sometimes forgets and still gives me projects and forgets that he has a coach there.

Nick: This will be a contrast with my head and heart.

Several people in downtown Bozeman Friday said they are ready for a good time this weekend. “It was awkward the year he was injured and missed the season (2011)”.

Smith said he’s leaning to Denver because his son is a Broncos fan. “He (Manning) is an old guy and I can relate to that”.

“One thing I do share with this city is a lack of affection for New England through the years”, Christensen says.

“It is because it’s always hard to find the teams that you like and everything and unless they do something big like this year when the Panthers go to the Super Bowl”. I get that Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to play in the league, but Father Time is undefeated and will remain so Sunday.
