Cam Newton Responds to Critics, Speaks Out on Season & Press Conference Exit
Newton came under fire for walking out of the press conference Sunday night after the Broncos 24-10 win over the Panthers. “When I look at Cam, I see a guy that’s in a lot of pain”. This league is a great league with or without me.

Newton reiterated he has no regrets about how he handled his postgame press conference. “It happened. It happened”.
“If I offended anybody that’s cool, but I know who I am and I’m not about to conform nor bend for anybody’s expectations because yours or anybody’s expectations would never exceed mine”, Newton said. “My faith doesn’t make me ideal, it makes me forgiven”, Manning wrote in the book.
Newton went on to say, “Who are you to say that your way is right? I’m a grown man. I can understand that”.
“I like Cam. I’m not going to blast Cam”, Archie said, according to The Observer. “Who likes to lose?” he posited to a media pack. “I can tell you that”. “This isn’t a popularity contest”.
On Tuesday, Newton fired back at members of the media. I didn’t dive down. I mean you can butt up to that line and crossing that line, taking that final step, saying I am moving on.
“I’m proud of who he is as a competitor and a football player”, coach Ron Rivera said. At one point we were undefeated. His second fumble was one he had a chance to recover, but instead of diving on the ball, he backed away from it. Newton said he was anxious about getting his legs tangled up in the pile.
“I want players that hate to lose”, Gettleman said. If I handled the media like a Drew Brees, I would still be in Chicago.
Relegated to game-manager status in the playoffs, the 39-year-old Manning completed just 13 of 23 passes Sunday at Levi’s Stadium for 141 yards, with an interception and a lost fumble. A pretty sweet deal if I do say so myself.
