Cam Newton tells Super Bowl haters to shove it
USA Today reported what happened when he was asked about his reaction following the game.

Denver Broncos general manager John Elway smiles with head coach Gary Kubiak, left, during the trophy presentation after the NFL Super Bowl 50 football game Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, Calif. The Broncos won 24-10.
Broncos cornerback Chris Harris was the guy getting interviewed and whose voice you can hear in the background of that video. If you want me to be that type of person, I’m not that. A pretty sweet deal if I do say so myself.
“I can see why Broncos fans are charged with being the greatest fans in the country”, Gradishar said. I think what the Broncos understand is how to turn it up.
Newton in his message thanked fans for inspiration during the Panthers’ “incredible journey”, and wrote he “will makes mistakes but I will continue to work on improving each day”.
Newton is a dynamic player who can run and pass, and who wears his emotions on his sleeve.
Allen was given a flagrant foul, penalty one for his actions, but stayed in the game. Sunday’s game was the first time I have ever rooted against Manning in a big game – so of course he wins that game – but his apparent shilling for a beer company in what may be the denouement of a brilliant, classy career doesn’t seem particularly classy. Harris was talking about the plan Denver had coming into the game, which was to force Newton and the Panthers to beat them through the air, something they felt confident would put the game in Denver’s favor. “We fought our tails off. Unfortunately we just didn’t play disciplined enough to win”.
The Broncos didn’t just dominate the Super Bowl, they pretty much dominated every team they played all season.
“I want to go kiss my wife and my kids”.
The Broncos certainly didn’t do him any favours by harassing him all game, but his performance was not very Newton-like.
“In order to learn from it, you have to let it sting, ” Kuechly said.
“If anybody wants to question how much Cam cares”, Olsen said, “If anyone wants to question how hard he plays, the sacrifice that he makes with his body, the sacrifice he makes with just the way he plays that position, than not only are they uninformed, they’ve probably never watched us play a down since he’s been in the league. So I don’t think I quit on anybody”, Kalil said. “He hates to lose, that’s the bottom line”, Rivera said. Newton on Tuesday admitted as much, but he bristled at the suggestion his reaction was a lack of effort.

Rivera also said he’s excited about the future of the Panthers and hopes the team can learn from the Broncos. He vowed that his team would be back at the Super Bowl and concluded with: “If I offended somebody, that’s cool”.
