Canon has officially launched its EOS 5D Mark IV camera for the Indian market.
Canon has launched its latest Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Camera with many of features similar to its predecessor. The processor adds an in-camera digital lens optimiser for JPEG processing and colour correction.
It is powered by a Digic 6+ image processor that offers enhanced noise isolation and low-light shooting algorithm. “In developing this new DSLR camera, we listened to the requests of current EOS users to create for them a modern, versatile camera designed to help them create and share lovely still and video imagery”. This camera will be available from the first week of September.
As it has been trend for the recent Canon DSLR cameras, the Mark IV too comes with Dual-Pixel CMOS autofocus, which helps in keeping the focus sharp while shooting videos.
A video presentation has also been released, showcasing all of the aforementioned features of the camera. On the other hand, for these nw extras, fans of the 5D Canon cameras will have to fork over a few pretty pennies. The camera packs the old 3.2-inch touchscreen but with increased resolution at 1.62 million dots.

Apart from the photography abilities, the EOS 5D Mark IV comes with an in-built Wi-Fi and NFC which allows users to transfer content from the device to external devices via FTP or FTPS service. It can record location data automatically. For photographers who are in on the action, you’re going to love that the new iteration will also feature improved weather resistance, whether it’s against water or dust. Its exterior is protected with a rubber coating at all of the joint areas. You also get the new optional BG-E20 battery grip the grip is assembled with the same build quality as the EOS 5D Mark IV, a dust/water resistant design, to deliver the same level of durability. Along with the new camera, Canon also launched two new L-series lenses – the EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM ultra-wide zoom lens and EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM standard zoom lens.
