Cameron sings after announcing departure
Just weeks after Britain opted to leave the European Union – something the Conservative leader campaigned against – it’s all change at No.1o, with Theresa May expected to become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on Wednesday.

David Cameron appeared to hum a tune seconds after announcing he would be resigning as Prime Minister.
As he walked back towards the portico of his official residence, TV microphones picked him up humming contentedly and following up with a jaunty “right!” as he closed the familiar black door behind him.
“I expect to go to the palace and offer my resignation so we will have a new prime minister in that building behind me by Wednesday evening”, he said, referring to Buckingham Palace.
After delivering a statement to the British press, Cameron appeared to hum a sing-song tune during his march back to 10 Downing Street.
On Twitter, journalists speculated it might be the opening bars of the theme track for USA political drama The West Wing.
And how does Mr Cameron feel about his imminent resignation just over a year after being re-elected?
“I’m delighted that Theresa May will be the next prime minister”.

“It will require a massive national effort…that means working together with business and industries in a way we’ve never seen before”, the prime minister said.
