Prince Charles touched down in Adelaide Tuesday, the first British royal to visit Australia since staunch republican Malcolm Turnbull became prime minister, amid a revived debate over whether Canberra is ready to ditch its monarchy ties.

“I was just hoping that he didn’t think I was a insane stalker”.

“We were like “ah we’re going to see a few whales” and they were like “you’re going to see Prince Charles” and we were like “wow that’s so cool”, recounted Phoenix Littin, from Okaihau College.

“He remembered me, didn’t he?”

‘Unf*** the world is Nga Rangatahi Toa saying we have choices, we can fix and heal and change the world around us – leave it better than how we found it, ‘ she said.

After the Prince’s time aboard the ship, the royal couple left New Zealand.

Prince Charles and Camilla were last in New Zealand in 2012 as part of the Queen’s diamond jubilee celebrations.

The royals spent the first day of their Australian tour in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, where they were greeted by hundreds of well wishers in the town of Tanunda.

Charles, recently made a Field Marshall of the New Zealand Army, visited the military personnel at the headquarters of exercise Southern Katipo in Westport.

But today, today, Charles and Camilla will be garnering their share of pop-culture blog headlines, most likely, thanks to this shot of Camilla wielding an eight-inch knife near Charles’s face. The Kono Oysters were a flawless example – an iwi initiative, developed using Cawthron science, farmed in our lovely clean Te Tau Ihu waters, prepared by talented local chefs – producing a delicacy fit for Royalty.

“Now, as I return here more than 20 years later, I am so heartened to see and hear of all that you have grown from those new beginnings”.

Charles said that their decision was of “enormous importance” and mirrored his own belief that future global problems would come from catastrophic events like sea level rises or droughts.

The Spirit of New Zealand vessel has now set sail again.

“I just happened to be walking around here but I’m moderately excited”. No one at work knows I was coming. The royal couple laid ferns on the tomb of the Unknown Warrior.

The royal motorcade is expected to arrive at the airport soon.
