Campaign Video of B.C.’s Independent Candidate Goes Viral
Scott’s video was published back in June, and it has translated into some notoriety.

Luckily, Scott has found a way to stand out from the crowd: a frankly incredible candidate’s video advert featuring giant geese, dragonslaying, and robot-destroying laser eye powers.
He’s running in the new riding of Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon.
“This is what we thought we could get away with without pushing the envelope too much”. The video has already achieved some popularity online and some consider it to have gone viral already.
The 37-year-old Scott then saves a falling man and fist bumps an alien, all while outlining his views on the high cost of university and calling for expanded social services, along with more support for Canada’s aboriginal people.
Canadian politician Wyatt Scott’s campaign ad is part “Game of Thrones”, part Terry Gilliam and all bizarro.
When Wyatt Scott decided to run as an independent candidate in the federal election, he wanted to do something “off-the-wall” that would catch people’s attention.
“I’m serious in every respect, but let’s be realistic for one moment”, he said.

“Change is coming to Canada, and I’m here to lead that charge”, he says in front of a waving Canada flag, just before he turns to blast a giant killer robot with his heat-vision.
