According to the food manufacturer, there may be pieces of red plastic in a few of the cans, which may become a choking hazard to the consumer. Customers can still return the affected cans even if they do not have a receipt.

Campbell said those who were able to swallow bits of the plastic should not worry because those are non-toxic. This is how the company learned of the problem with its SpaghettiOs Original product. “It is part of the can lining”.
This recall affects 355,000 cans and is limited to the United States.
