Like the company’s Surface tablets, the laptop will feature a detachable screen, allowing it to be used tablet fashion.

Like the other models from the series, the Surface Pro 4 also comes with an attachable Type Cover keyboard that instantly converts the tablet into a practical laptop. Microsoft called the 1.6-pound Surface Book a device that’s “redefining the laptop”. It’s noted that the features of the update will vary by device.
Panos, who also introduced a new Pen, said: “And yes, there’s an all-new Surface Pen as well, which also has an eraser on the end of it. The new pen has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity and attaches magnetically to the side of the Surface Pro 4 when not in use”.

Microsoft’s latest Windows 10-powered Surface Pro 4 is expected to debut in stores on October 26.
