Can Natalie flip James against Nicole?
He revealed that he had started “unloading” and calling out Natalie for everything he’s been feeling lately: that he is doubting her feelings for him, and that he knew that she tried to throw him under the bus for Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo. He expected Natalie to know him better at this point in the game, so he was disappointed. He nominated Natalie Negrotti and James Huling for eviction.

That’s exactly what happened this week with Natalie and James. Should James of Natalie win the Veto, they would likely pull themselves off of the block which means Corey or Nicole would go up as a replacement nominee. But winning this game, that’s what I came here to do. But then they started arguing again about the time Nicole cuddled up to James to get Natalie out, before the two chose to break it off completely. “Paul and Victor trusted us”. Even if not so fun really for James and Natalie, who would be battling for their lives in the Big Brother 18 house.
In this week’s competition, “Take a Crack at Being Mac”, the contestants are called into the backyard one by one, where they need to figure out how to escape three different rooms. The first person randomly selected to go was Natalie.
Natalie told her game-long showmance partner that if he stuck with Nicole and Corey going forward in the game, she never wanted him to speak to her again – and she wasn’t joking! The victor of the POV was Corey and this would be his third POV victory and winning a mental competition.
In those scenes, it became pretty clear that the paranoia of the game was getting to Natalie, but she should not have taken it out on James.
In case the house made a decision to keep James for another week, and he was to win the next Head of Household competition, Paul chose to get on his good side and attempt to solidify some trust. She is wondering how she can bring him back in, and hopes when Natalie leaves he’ll keep fighting to stay. Victor reiterates that just because he told Natalie she was the pawn, doesn’t mean she is safe this week.
James, for his part, assured Natalie that he and Nicole had never had a pregame show alliance. He was the stronger competitor, and Paul had a fear that Nicole and Corey could team up with James to take aim at them during the next eviction.
Whether Natalie’s motive was malicious or not, it cut James deep.
Natalie could tell something was wrong with James because he looked incredibly sad, but he kept his mouth shut. She also assured James her feelings for him were real, but did not want to get super attached to him as she lived in NY while he in Texas. Even though Paul is Victor’s “ride or die”, Paul knows that Natalie is a much bigger threat than James for his game.

Victor noted at the end of the episode his Final 4 hasn’t “100% agreed” on which houseguest should go home next. This causes James to reconsider telling everyone to evict him instead of Natalie.
