Mrs. Clinton led Mr. Trump by 8 points in Colorado, 43 percent to 35 percent, and she led by 7 points in Florida, 44 percent to 37 percent, according to NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polls.

To give you an idea of how important Pennsylvania is, if Trump carries all of the states Mitt Romney won in 2012, plus Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania – he will win 273 electoral votes and the presidency.
“Obama had by far the best treatment by late-night comics of any presidential candidate we’ve examined going back to 1992 – and that’s quantifiable”, Lichter said. Voters still view both candidates unfavorably; Trump has a 61 percent unfavorability rating, and Clinton earned 58 percent unfavorability.
The polls show Clinton is deeply unpopular – but that Trump is even more disliked by voters. Democrats panicked, Republicans beamed, and pundits began saying it’s time to rethink previous assumptions and consider the possibility that Trump may be elected president in the fall.
In nearly every election since 1988, younger voters have favored the Democrat over the Republican by a margin of nine points or more.
Among registered voters in Iowa who say they definitely plan to vote, one point separates Clinton and Trump.
Trump has harmed himself in the eyes of prospective voters with his own comments, but Clinton’s recent email scandal may have done the most damage to her reputation.
Hillary Clinton will accuse Donald Trump of casting Latinos as less American due to their heritage, part of an effort to woo voters in the fast-growing demographic group and paint her GOP rival as a divisive and risky political force.
“The Shows” uses Trump’s words against him through video of Mrs. Clinton’s work as Secretary of State, meetings with heads of state, both friend and foe.
In North Carolina, incumbent Republican Sen. Most recent polls have shown a rapidly closing gap between the two candidates, if not an outright tie. This reflects some of the apathy that we’ve seen about the candidates (who, we probably don’t need to remind you, are the most unpopular major party candidates on record) and probably some apathy about the election.
Clinton does not fare much better: If she is elected president, 48 percent say they would be afraid and 46 percent say they would feel regretful.

The poll was conducted from June 30 to July 11, a particularly topsy-turvy period in the presidential contest.
