Can South Carolina decide Ted Cruz’s future?
In an radio interview on Tuesday for a New Hampshire station, Cruz said rather than playing Born in the U.S. at his rallies he should play New York, New York “because you know Donald comes from New York and he embodies New York values”.

‘Well, look, these are certainly amusing, ‘ Cruz said. In Iowa, however, the two candidates are in a dead heat, with the January 7-10 Des Moines Register/Bloomberg poll giving Cruz a 3-point edge. Even though there had been many high paying jobs just south in Pennsylvania, New Yorkers are denied the ability to provide for their families.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, who a year ago was seen as the likely frontrunner but has been polling in the single digits, said Trump was “unhinged” for his comments to ban Muslims from entering the United States.
In the days since they clashed at a debate Thursday in South Carolina, Trump has hammered Cruz over loans and questioned whether he is eligible for the presidency because of his Canadian birth. Cruz embarked on a five-day swing through New Hampshire this week as his numbers began to show new strength.
“That has got to drive him nuts, and I imagine it sent him out of bed this morning tweeting and tweeting and tweeting”, Cruz said, according to The Texas Tribune and other outlets. “Not much of a reformer!” Trump has taken to Twitter to blast Cruz in the past, a move Cruz suggested will turn off voters. But speaking to reporters at a church not far from Charlotte on Saturday, Cruz, who once declined to attack Trump, shed any caution he may have had about laying into his top rival. I kept saying come on Ted.
Cruz also restated his backhand apology for criticizing Donald Trump’s “New York values”. “I mean, they loaned him a million dollars, so they certainly have control over him”, Trump said on CNN’s “State of the Union”.
The spat between the pair, who earlier in the campaign had called each other friends, has intensified since the Republican debate on January 14, when the Texan attacked reality television star Trump’s “New York values” and policy positions, including past support for abortion.
The New York Times reported Friday Cruz not only failed to report a loan from Goldman Sachs for his 2012 campaign, he also failed to report one from Citibank.
“Ronald Reagan was a voice of consistency and I’m pretty sure that Ronald Reagan didn’t write checks and support Democratic politicians like Andrew Cuomo, like Anthony Weiner, like Hillary Clinton”, Cruz continued, The Blaze reports.

“Senator Cruz is very weak on illegal immigration”, he said. I would ask most Christians the question, “What is the first thing you do to become a Christian?”
