The record-breaking Powerball jackpot could grow yet more before Wednesday’s drawing if ticket sales continue to exceed expectations.
Seventy-five percent of all the possible combinations were purchased before Saturday’s drawing, Grief said, and he expects that enough tickets will be sold to cover about 80 percent by Wednesday.
The odds of winning Powerball are now 1 in 292 million against you winning the $1.5 billion jackpot.

Rollo Redburn, executive director of the Oklahoma Lottery, said with such a huge jackpot on the lines, even with all the taxes, Oklahomans are stepping up to the line and buying the Powerball tickets in record numbers.
Tuesday morning, the Jackpot went from $1.4-billion to $1.5-billion.
