Canadian academic Homa Hoodfar detained in Iran indicted on unknown charges

Rezaian was convicted but later released in January as part of a prisoner swap between Iran and the US.

The detained Canadian is Homa Hoodfar, a dual-national professor at Concordia University in Montreal who was arrested in March as she was preparing to return to Canada.

Iran’s judiciary indicted three detained Iranian dual-nationals and a Lebanese citizen also held in the Islamic Republic, the judiciary’s official news website Mizan said on Monday.
