Cancelled Star Wars 1313 “not being thrown away”
This and the scrapped plans for the Star Wars Underworld TV show, both of which are set on the world of Coruscant. Thanks to Star Wars Street View, you can now see any place in the world from the cockpit of a vehicle from the movies.

No. No, interestingly enough, thats an area we’ve spent a lot of time, reading through the material that [George Luicas] developed is something we very much would like to explore. It meant pushing the boundaries of what we truly knew about “scum and villainy” within Star Wars, especially if Lucasfilm could be as brutal as they can be at that ESRB rating. However, they might not be as dead and buried as expected.

No details are known about the game yet, and a title like 1313 seems like it would be right up Hennig’s alley, but there are high hopes for it despite knowing nothing about it yet. Disney has given Tim Schafer and Double Fine the go-ahead to make remastered versions of Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle, and apparently they’re even looking into reviving Star Wars 1313.
