Cannabis worth €600k and 40,000 prescription drugs seized in Finglas
In an intelligence led operation targeting the activities of an organised criminal gang, Gardaí stopped a truck and a auto at St Margaret’s Road in Finglas shortly before 7pm on Saturday night.

More than 100 kilos of cannabis and 40,000 prescription pills have been seized by the Garda drugs squad.
On Friday, officers from the Pearse District Drug Unit, investigating the sale and supply of controlled substances, carried out a number of searches in Walkinstown, Dublin 12.
Two men have been arrested following the seizure of a large quantity of drugs in north Dublin.
An 18-year-old woman, and two men – aged 25 and 47 – have been arrested.

A 47-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Irishtown Garda Station where he is being detailed under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
