Capcom reveals a launch date for Mega Man Legacy Collection
The wait for the Mega Man Legacy Collection won’t be much longer, as Capcom revealed that the game will be released digitally on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on August 25th for $14.99.

Meanwhile, the Nintendo 3DS version won’t arrive to either territory until “early 2016”. Physical editions of the game will also be available early 2016 in North America for $29.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo 3DS. But with the date slowly approaching, more details are coming into view, like this achievement list from Capcom Unity.
Mega Man Legacy Collection comes with a new Challenge Mode with online leaderboards and video replays, along with a collection of images, concept art, and other assets from the iconic franchise’s history.

There’s also a Challenge Mode full of remixed gameplay selections as well as a music player with all of the game’s soundtracks on board, that’s over 100 songs! In addition, all six games will also retain their retro 8-bit style but with a newly added HD finish which means all those original sprites will look the crispest fans have ever seen.
