Civil War has a little bit of everything.

Other Walt Disney successes include “The Jungle Book” that was second at the box office this weekend, with about $21 million.
The tentpole has already topped the final domestic total of 2011’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” at $176.6 million and should eclipse 2014’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” at $259 million by the end of next weekend.
Less than two weeks after it started rolling out around the globe, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War has passed the $700 million mark at the worldwide box office. A new video runs through a bunch of the Captain America Civil War easter eggs and more, and you can watch it below. Another thing to note, this is the best debut ever for Spider-Man, topping the previous record held by Spider-Man 3 with $151.1 million since May 2007. In addition to that, there is now a new intro to the game, which is modeled after Avengers: Age of Ultron //em (shown in the clip below).
Captain America Civil War is out now in cinemas. The opening is also the fifth biggest in USA box office history, according to CNN. Captain America: Civil War also won the superhero showdown when it came to USA weekend totals, beating Batman V Superman ($181.7 million) and Deadpool ($132.4 million) with sheer strength of patriotism.

Though technically a sequel to “Captain America’s” second solo outing “The Winter Solider”, the movie boasts an impressive list of characters, including Iron Man, Black Widow, Falcon and Bucky Barnes, as they butt heads over a document called the Sokovia Accords. “When it comes to superhero team-ups, it looks like the whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts”, Mr. Downey wrote. And, as they are poised to blow past that number in another record year with box office receipts clearing the $2.5 billion milestone before “Captain America: Civil War” even made its appearance, Marvel movies are keeping pace. It’s been very well-received by critics and, now, audiences, who gave the film a promising “A” CinemaScore, which should bode well for the film’s longevity.
