Captain America: Civil War is Not an Avengers Movie
When you watch the other films you see how Captain America and Iron Man fight the bad guys together, back-to-back, but they have differences. Captain America says, “He’s my friend”.

In the Civil War comics (which the film seems to be following pretty closely), several disasters involving superpowered humans, including a massacre that kills an entire school full of children, leads the government to enact the Superhero Registration Act (called the Sokovia Accords in Captain America: Civil War), which would allow further regulation of superpowered humans.
Check out a cool video above featuring footage from the various Marvel movies leading up to Captain America: Civil War. As far as the DC/Marvel rivalry, I think Anthony Mackie is right in that it’s blown way out of proportion, but it still would’ve been incredibly interesting to see these two movies go head to head and see who would’ve come out on top. The most recent of which was the newest TV spot released during Super Bowl Sunday early this month. The short trailer posed a question to fans if they are on Team Cap’s side or rooting for Team Stark.
In other news, Collider reports that Hasbro recently released highly detailed figures of “Captain America: Civil War” characters in new and updated costumes. “Captain America: Civil War” is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. In the latest image, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man finally got some well-deserved recognition. Iron Man counts Black Widow, War Machine, Black Panther, and Vision on his side, while Cap is joined by the Winter Soldier, Falcon, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and Ant-Man. The scene depicts Steve Rogers being captured and imprisoned, while Tony Stark started his own Initiative Program for heroes to be registered.
