Captain America: Civil War – Ranking The Characters By Anticipation
“Captain America: Civil War” will pick up after the events of “Age of Ultron”.

Civil War is set for a May 6 release, so expect to see plenty more of this along with some official images/teasers over the next few months. And while we’ve heard that this big screen version doesn’t adhere too closely to what was on the printed page, The Hashtag Show has revealed that one of the bigger shockers remains intact. Captain America continues to lead the new team of Avengers.
Expectations are high for Captain America: Civil War, the follow-up to Joe and Anthony Russo’s excellent The Winter Soldier and first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s expansive Phase 3 lineup.
However, (we did warn you a major spoiler was coming), Captain America may be having a funeral of his very own at the end of the movie.
According to the video: “During the film, Steve will make a deal with the government stating that they are not to hunt down the people that allied with him in the Civil War”. According to the comic story Steve Rogers is gunned down when he surrenders himself to the authorities.
If you’re not deep into internet culture, you may be unaware of the intensely devoted section of the Captain America fan base who consider Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), not Peggy Carter (Haley Atwell), to be the true object of Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) affection. However, after another worldwide incident involving the group of heroes results in collateral damage, politics enters the scene by imposing that a system of accountability and a governing body is needed to determine when to enlist the services of the team.
The Marvel franchise has killed off and resurrected various main characters before, and if Rogers is to die in “Civil War”, it’s likely that he will be brought back to life in time for “Avengers: Infinity War”.
