In the case of Captain America: Civil War, critics and audiences lucky enough to catch advance screenings earlier this month have already seen one of the credits scenes, specifically the one that happens in the middle of the credits. According to Disney estimates, Civil War is pacing only 5 percent behind Age of Ultron, and it’s 26 percent ahead of both Iron Man 3 and The Avengers, as well as 157 percent ahead of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. While we wait for more on Captain America: Civil War, check out these latest photos and all-new Avengers.
The film includes multiple heroes and characters from the Marvel franchise including for the first time Spider-Man alongside other Avengers.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo expertly blend action with humour, something now expected from Marvel films, but also add a more mature, dark aspect to the MCU as the Avengers grapple with their identity and objective. The scene reportedly shows Spider-Man having a conversation with his aunt and the scene teases future Marvel movies.
As for the second credits scene that worldwide audiences are seeing, Birth.Death.Movies has learned that it gives us a little more Spider-Man. That’s the question on every Marvel fan’s mind. Next week, another 750 IMAX screens will open Captain America: Civil War with the North American launch as well as more overseas territories, including the all-important China market.
Captain America: Civil War has a United States release date of May 6, 2016. “Spider Man: Homecoming” is one of them.
