When Kamran Shahid told him that Imran Khan has sympathized with Ayaz Sadiq and said that he had moved to the tribunal against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and not against Ayaz Sadiq, Sadiq responded to him saying that he also has no grudges with Imran Khan.
Sadiq said that the verdict would be challenged in the Supreme Court due to reservations and it was our constitutional right.
The alleged rigging case investigation by the election tribunal expands over a span of two years.
The tribunal was to announce decision at ten in the morning but delayed it, as workers of PTI and PML-N gathered nearby and shouting slogans.
PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi, termed the decision as historic, adding that it would go a long way in ensuring a transparent election system in Pakistan.
Election tribune has issued five five passes to each side’s advisory body to hear the judgment. When proceedings for the case began in July 2013, Ayaz Sadiq obtained a stay order.
The verdict came hours later than expected because charged up supporters of both the PML-N and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were present outside the tribunal office while police officials briefed the Election Commission that the situation may deteriorate if it is announced today.

The PTI chief visited the election tribunal twice; first on November 26, 2014, with a request not to combine decisions of NA-122 and PP-147 and the second time on December 6, 2014, to record his statement. The authority submitted a supplementary report on May 30.
