“I got to the point where I was a bit mad”.

She has previously (and bravely) talked about suffering from depression as a teen, even sharing that she was suicidal.

As the demanding work caused her to develop the painful skin condition, Psoriasis, Cara “masked [it] with medicine” rather than taking the time to fully heal. She says that even before modeling, she nearly had a mental breakdown and thought suicide was the only answer. I also realized how lucky I was, and what a wonderful family and wonderful friends I had, but that didn’t matter. “Is that how I feel?’ It was a very unusual experience”.

“It’s about finding people around you have your best interests at heart”.

The 23-year-old star – who recently appeared in the Joe Wright-directed movie “Pan” – said: “For me, I wanted to make people see that I was just like anyone else and also I like to use it [Instagram] when I’m not happy about things”.

“You’re constantly told that you’re not pretty enough and not tall enough and not skinny enough and people are better”.

Delevingne said she wants to inspire young girls and spread the message that depression is “not something to be ashamed of”.

The model-turned-actress went all gothic on us and slipped into this teeny tiny tulle frock that boasted a tutu-style skirt, 90s-inspired spaghetti straps and a bandeau bodice which gave us all a peek of both her lengthy pins and cleavage. That you’re not alone and you’re not an alien.
