With one catch, Larry Fitzgerald will set a career high for a season and set a franchise record for catches in a season.
In that first contest against the Cardinals, the Seahawks were beat thanks to the Cardinals ability to maintain possession. Carson Palmer was listed as probable for the game, and it is a near-definite that he and all available starters suit up for this game.
Wide receiver Michael Floyd who has recently been nicknamed “Seahawk Killer” is expected to play this week.
Bettcher said that from the first offseason meeting, the stated goal was to “be a relentless team”.
The Arizona Cardinals (13-2) are coming from a 38-8 win over the Green Bay Packers. He rushed for 1,106 yards with 10 touchdowns in 13 games. John Brown is only 42 yards away from his first 1000 yard receiving season so he will be playing with a little extra juice and will help Palmer spread the field as he has done all season. He has 33 catches for 423 yards and four touchdowns to go with his 556 yards on the ground, almost all of it in the last four games when he took over for injured Chris Johnson. It’s 6.41 yards per play leads the NFL.
San Francisco: The 49ers have lost nine games by double figures, tied for the second-most in franchise history behind 10 in 2004.
Arizona has the league’s top offense.
The Seahawks were hoping Lynch would return to practice this week to boost their struggling running game.
The Seahawks, on the other hand, would boost their seeding to fifth in the six-team NFC field by beating Arizona – but only if the Minnesota Vikings lose to the Green Bay Packers in the Sunday Night game, the final game of the National Football League season before postseason play begins with Wild Card Weekend January 9 and 10.
“When momentum is on your side, you don’t want to lose it, no doubt”, Palmer said.
I don’t have to get on the Cardinals’ bandwagon because I’ve been there since midseason. For it all to come together against their division rival, they just need to execute the way they’ve shown they’re capable in the last few weeks.
The Cardinals are 25-4 in Palmer’s last 29 starts.
Of the 19 Arizona players to score touchdowns this season, six play defense. So if I’m in the pocket standing one way, I can put the camera behind me, I can have it to my right and to my left, and I can watch my feet.

Notes: Arizona OLB Dwight Freeney was named NFC defensive player of the week after he sacked Aaron Rodgers three times on Sunday. Lynch was stopped for a 2-yard loss early in the second quarter on a blitz by strong safety Deone Bucannon and Okafor caused Wilson to fumble the ball into the end zone for a safety on the next play.
