Cargo Plane Overshoots Runway, Ends on Local Road in Italy’s Bergamo airport
The plane originally came from the Charles De Gaulle Airport in Paris before eventually landing in the Italian worldwide airport.

A cargo plane overshot the runway after landing at Bergamo’s Orio al Serio worldwide airport, crashed the fence and stopped only in the middle of a road.
The DHL courier cargo plane overshot the runway at Bergamo’s Orio al Serio worldwide airport in the Lombardy region and crashed into a road.
The nose of the Boeing 737-400 smashed through a fence and motorway barriers after losing control on landing.
Dramatic pictures of the incident showed the aircraft protruding well into the road with debris shattered on the ground.
Emergency crews at the airport, also known as Orio Al Serio, rushed to the scene at around 4am.
Authorities said the airport was closed after the incident before being reopened at about 6.45am.
The two pilots on board escaped unharmed.

Ryanair announced with “regret” that it was cancelling “some flights” due to the smash.
