Carolina Panthers: scarier than the 2015 Carolina Panthers?

Newton accounted for 45 touchdowns this season for the Panthers, but was questioned by some fans and media members for his exuberant end zone dances.

Super Bowl 50 will be wonderful. Their defense is ranked #1 this season and needs to force Cam Newton to throw the ball.

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera is keeping close to heart some advice his former coach gave him 30 years ago.

Three more interceptions of beleaguered quarterback Carson Palmer, including one returned 21 yards for a touchdown by Luke Kuechly, and cool execution by Newton in the second half expanded the rout. Newton is the favorite to win the NFL MVP, and Carolina is less than two weeks away from playing in Super Bowl 50 against the Denver Broncos.

“We wanted to be efficient, we wanted to start fast, wanted to keep the pressure on and wanted to finish, most of all”, Newton said after the game. “Had we had to play the first round, I think it was affecting him a little bit”. Super Bowl 50 will be the Bronco’s 8th time, which ties a record, and will be the 2nd time for the Panthers. Plus, he wasn’t able to play in six games this year due to a partly torn plantar fascia on his left heel, and he is the oldest quarterback to lead his team to the Super Bowl.

When May rolls around, we’ll sit back and watch unknowns become first-round picks and franchises pin their hopes on the future.

“One of the things Coach Ditka emphasized to us was to enjoy the moment”, Rivera told reporters after Sunday’s victory in the NFC Championship.

“That didn’t have any effect [on the game] but it does emotionally some, when you go back and sit back down after you’re ready to go out”, Arians said.

The Denver Broncos harassed and harangued Brady relentlessly while beating the Patriots Sunday.

“This year’s Super Bowl is on pace to not only be the most expensive Super Bowl, but the most expensive event, topping things like the Mayweather-Pacquiao boxing match and The Masters”, said Chris Leyden, analyst with SeatGeek.
