Carpool Karaoke Gets Presidential With Michelle Obama
“Whatcha got?” Obama asked Corden when she got in the vehicle.

As we shared earlier this week, Late Late Show host James Corden took First Lady Michelle Obama for a spin on his popular segment Carpool Karaoke. As they drove around the White House service roads, Corden’s auto was trailed by Secret Service agents.
Corden asked her what she will miss most when she is no longer the First Lady and she replied that she will miss the people. Corden and Obama wave their hands hands back and forth and sing in a call-and-echo format to each other throughout the song.
She lamented that she doesn’t get to rock out to music in the vehicle often since she rarely rides in the passenger seat anymore, you know, being the first lady and all, so she was especially excited. Once inside the auto, the two then sing Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” before jamming to Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” according to Hollywood Life.
“How cool is the first lady, Michelle Obama?”.
While Corden usually zips around the roads in the Range Rover, the trio had to shoot the segment within the grounds of the White House. Rowland is one of the featured singers on “This Is For My Girls”, a song that promotes Obama’s Let Girls Learn initiative.
After teasing the appearance a few days ago, the “Late Late Show with James Corden” finally released the latest “Carpool Karaoke” featuring First Lady Michelle Obama – and it did not disappoint. “So we dropped her vocals in”.
Spoiler Alert: You will cry tears of joy when Missy Elliott hops in the backseat to do backup vocals for the best “Get Your Freak On” throwback known to man.
