Carrie Fisher won’t undergo surgery for younger looks
The actress says she looks all of her 59 years, having reprised the role in the forthcoming blockbuster “The Force Awakens”. “We’re not speaking and I’m ignoring especially my arms lately”, she explained.

Although Carrie isn’t a fan of her looks, she refuses to undergo extensive plastic surgery to transform her appearance. “I got in character and I’ve never gotten out again”, she told Robach on “GMA”, “and really, I’ve tried everything”. “You don’t have to ask yourself if you want to work at the age”.
Hollywood is a different place from the one Fisher came of age in as the child of two reigning stars, and a different one from the town where she later promoted herself as a young actress.
Did you hear the rumor about Disney potentially banning the toy Princess Leia doll dressed in the metal bikini? “I would do everything but have serious surgery for it and look like a weird fish with gills”. “I still know that sound”.
“It was a great question, and one that we talked about a lot – even with Carrie [Fisher] – if there was another, why did she not take advantage of this natural Force strength that she’s got”, director J.J. Abrams told IGN when discussing Leia’s growth into becoming a general in the Resistance instead of a Jedi Knight like her brother, Luke.

The actress told the Los Angeles Times that perhaps the father who complained should tell his daughter that her character “is wearing that outfit not because she’s chosen to wear it. She’s been forced to wear it”. She gave her opinion-and the opinion of her dog, Gary. “You like it less as you roll along; I can’t say that to you, but people who are normal, that have other genes, other than yours…they don’t like it as much”.
