As Ben Carson tries to move past questions about the accuracy of the stories he’s told about his life, he’s getting no help from his rivals for the Republican presidential nomination.

“Maybe the words are inaccurate”, said campaign spokesman Doug Watts, who continued to argue that Carson’s account of what happened is still “in effect”, and the same as receiving a scholarship. [Where] I do have a problem is being lied about and putting that out there as truth. And while the media quickly shifted its focus to more pressing matters, like wall-to-wall coverage of a handful of Christians finding fault with Starbucks’s holiday coffee cups, Republicans opened their pocketbooks and rewarded Dr. Carson for being the victim of a freakish smear.
A close aide to Ben Carson said Monday that the scrutiny the Republican presidential candidate is facing was to be expected and is a “good thing”.
In Tuesday’s email plea, the younger Mr. Carson tried to cut through all of the competing claims.
While Carson said the best thing a potential victim of a shooting can do is rush the shooter, he did anything but that in Popeye’s in Baltimore. But he has lived his life in an exemplary fashion.
I suppose it shouldn’t be so remarkable that a journalist simply does his or her job correctly that it’s worthy of kudos when it happens, but sadly that is the media world in which we live – and I’m sure Ms. Murphy’s colleagues are disappointed that she didn’t “nail” me in a few way, or add “analysis” that would slant the story.
On the show, Carson suggested that if President Obama didn’t want people to think he was a secret Muslim, he should reveal all of his records, even after being told Obama had released both versions of his birth certificate.

In a blog entry posted on his website, Cain said that the media, in particular Politico, is mistreating Carson via the same methods they used against former CEO during his 2012 Presidential run. Because, you know, we all know that every single person who ever served as president was an angel when in high school.
Ben Carson did mention that he got a West Point scholarship multiple times and we all know that very well. Later I was offered a full scholarship to West Point. They resent conservatives who happen to be black for leaving the Democrat plantation.

In a GOP debate last month, Carson said it was “absolutely absurd” to say he had a formal relationship with the medical supplement company Mannatech.
