That said, it is worth noting that Donald Trump is now 8 points behind Ben Carson in the Quinnipiac Iowa poll and 2 points behind Carson in a Wisconsin poll. This is the first major poll to find Trump trailing by a significant margin nationally or in the four early states since late June.

But like many of his sweeping claims, this one was not entirely true – especially when you count the smaller polls that Trump frequently likes to tout at his rallies.

Carson is at 28 percent, and Trump is at 20 percent.
The same can be said for Hillary Clinton and the other Democratic presidential candidates.
The soft-spoken former doctor is particularly strong with women, where he tops Trump 33 to 13 percent, and white evangelical Christians, where his lead is 36 to 17.

That said, the magnitude of Carson’s jump here is impressive. “Evangelicals are just like all the other Americans; they are exhausted of a broken system in Washington, D.C”.
And the only difference in the main debate stage is that it’s down from 11 candidates to 10 again – Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker dropped out last month after a disappointing performance in the debate at the Reagan Presidential Library in California. According to the Iowa Department of Education, the Hawkeye State has at least 10,000 home-schooled students.
A few hours after the initial retweet, Trump removed it from his feed and tweeted, “the young intern who accidentally did a Retweet apologizes”.
Trump doubled down on his comments during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday”, using an oft-repeated Jeb Bush phrase – that his brother “kept us safe” – against him.

Trump also said Monday that tougher immigration policies like the ones he would implement if he became president would have thwarted the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
