Carson takes lead from Trump in new national poll
One grew up poor in inner city Detroit and went on to become a renowned neurosurgeon.

More than half of the Republican primary voters surveyed said they were now paying “a lot” of attention to the campaign, essentially unchanged from a CBS News survey in early October. All of his shocking statements on things like Muslims not being allowed to run for president unless they publicly disavow their religion, or Obamacare being the worst thing since slavery, or that the Jews might have stopped the Holocaust if they had more guns, only seem to have helped him win support for his campaign. Or Carson and the anti-Carson. Either way, the candidate with an answer for everything is suddenly off his game.
Trump’s attacks against Carson have also been vague, alluding to issues that haven’t yet been raised. That’s not who I am.
“I got a lot of really cool things that I could do other than sit around being miserable, listening to people demonize me and me feeling compelled to demonize them. I mean, Seventh Day Adventist, I don’t know about”. However, as reported by CBS, “support for Ben Carson has quadrupled” in the last two months. Carson’s lead in Iowa has reached 14 points.
The final poll of the week showing Mr. Trump trailing in Iowa was the Monmouth University Poll.
But the state of the race can change. “I wanna, I gotta say hello to Todd”.
Just ahead of Wednesday’s third GOP debate in Colorado, Dr. Carson says he’d rather be in front than behind in this election.
“With the current administration, warrior care is lacking to say the least”, Landen told Trump. Carson scored 28 percent of voters, while Trump only managed to obtain 20 percent. “People have to believe in a message and relate to it and connect to it”, said Armstrong Williams, Carson’s business manager. We’ve worn them for a thousand years. His favorability ratings in Iowa are inordinately high – 84 percent in one poll – and his candid talk about his faith has put him in good stead with evangelical voters, critical in Iowa.
“Right now it’s not very scientific”, he said Tuesday of the polls. You rarely hear him talk about these poll numbers.

While Trump has been known for direct and personal verbal lobs against his opponents in the campaign, this is the first time he has found himself faced with another outsider who has risen above him in a few recent key polls.
