The Resorts World Casino bus smashed into the corner of the property at Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park, Queens about 2pm Monday (4am Tuesday AEST), NBC New York reported.

The crash was so powerful, that it created a gash in the first and second floor, according to eyewitnesses who took photos of the accident. A Periscope user recorded the immediate aftermath.

Police told WABC all of the injuries came from the bus, and it did not appear that anyone inside the building was injured.

Deputy Inspector Judith Harrison from the 112th Precinct, as well as a witness, said the driver swerved to avoid an accident with another vehicle before driving into the home.

Aerial footage of the crash showed a red passenger bus with the Resorts World logo emblazoned on it embedded into a large brick building.

The bus slammed into the corner of the two-story building, which houses a law office and real-estate company, tearing open the facade.
