‘Cautious’ Drew Barrymore follows ‘annual’ breast cancer check-ups
Jess, on the other hand, resides in a boathouse and spends her days working in a community garden.

‘I would have done anything for this movie I loved it so much’.
According to 40-year-old Drew, it was Toni who convinced her to join the project.
“There are no words for this film I can find yet except in that when people tell us they ran to call their best mate, pal after they see it, Toni and I are so very happy”, Drew captioned on her current INSTAGRAM post.
Toni plays Millie in the film about two friends whose lives are completely entwined having grown up as best friends.
But when Milly is diagnosed with breast cancer she needs Jess’s support more than ever – and when Milly becomes pregnant, their bond is tested to the limit. Barrymore emanates a goodness and steadiness that would be appealing to a fun narcissist like Collette’s Milly, and Collette, as always, is a wonder of empathy, imbuing Milly’s selfishness with the biting humor of a woman not prone to letting down her guard; the scene when she tries on wigs after losing her hair is wrenching.
The mother-of-two slipped into a teal bandage number which highlighted her hourglass figure – nipping in at her waist and flaring at her knees.
Paddy, 41, explained that it was important to explore issues that viewers will relate to and connect with. “If you’re not telling stories that give some kind of enlightenment in some way, then I don’t think it’s worth doing, really”.
Director Catherine Hardwicke, who also helmed 2008’s Twilight, hopes the movie “encourages people” to appreciate their friends more. On Monday, September 21st, there will be a special preview screening held in Smithfield’s luxurious Lighthouse Cinema in aid of the Irish Cancer Society charity.
